Windows 10 reaches a billion users earlier this week

The Windows operating system 10 Microsoft has exceeded one billion active users earlier this week and the company is celebrating the occasion with a video that teases new features and changes to the user interface. In an Instagram video by Panos Panay, Chief of Windows and Microsoft has revealed that it is progressing with changes to the Windows Start menu 10 which will see the company de-emphasize its Live Tiles.

Microsoft plans to reduce the color of the interface blocks in the Start menu to simplify it and simplify the search for apps. This is what is shown in the video along with what appear to be some spacing changes to the way animated tiles are displayed.
